Think of Socialism as flypaper. Its tenets are sticky and meant to hook the unaware into its way of thinking. Ages 13 through 40 are especially vulnerable. It starts with denouncing religion of any kind, and denying the existence of God or Creator. Then, because there are no rules, real or implied, there is true freedom to do anything you want at any time. No restrictions of any kind apply to you. Everyone is equal
Think of our recent past. Men could be women and women could be men. Babies were not human, and could be disposed of at will at any time. The State was in charge. As long as you followed the State, and were within its boundaries there was nothing to worry about, ever. The utopian dream was beginning to take place in our lifetime. Everything was going to be free. Everything provided for that we would need. Ultimately there would be no income and no taxes, and no Capitalism. The State would provide all as in the Utopia of Socialism. Everyone would be happy everywhere.
Ultimately there would be no opposition to anything. The media of all kinds saying the same thing every day. No large companies, no bosses, no production. No stores because there would be no products or food sales. No gas or clothes or medicine or commercials or TV or news, just reports from the State on approved loudspeakers, media and internet everywhere. All connected with video cameras everywhere to maintain a check to make sure everyone was continuing to be happy. Those who were not happy would disappear quietly, and would never be seen again.
There would be no patriotism or nationalism or love of country or flags or songs of love of native land. Eventually all countries of the world would be the same. One world, one people of the earth. No need to travel, everything would begin to look the same. No one would have any money. No need for it, since the State would be providing everything that you would ever need. Entertainment and sports would be much downgraded for lack of funding of inflated salaries. Everyone would be stuck watching everything old. Old movies, old games (baseball, football, basketball, soccer, curling, etc.), old concerts. Musicians would have no reason to practice, for there would be no orchestras (and no unions), all would be just for fun.
But there would be peace at last! No reason to be angry at anyone. All territory would belong to everyone. No real estate to bother with. No individual housing of any kind. No rent or payments to anyone. All would be provided by the State. Missing also would be racism, hatred of anyone for any reason. There would be no money to be made by blackmailing or intimidating anyone else. There would be no schools as such. The State would be raising all children from 6 to 16. Their education would consist of indoctrination by approved (indoctrinated) purveyors of approved information. There would also be approved and mandated centers for continued learning by adults, (all those over the age of 16). Continued happiness would consist of required medication daily of derivatives of Valium or something similar in order to keep the temperament of everyone even and happy at all times.
Does the flypaper effect make any sense yet?
The above scenario is fiction, but certainly possible when you extrapolate the above possibilities. They go way beyond Socialism and even Communism into the ultimate utopia, Statism. Not just of a certain country, but of the whole world. All production would cease during the adaptation period where everyone becomes acclimated to the new system. Then, when all is even, the State would take over all production to provide the necessities for all, with all working to provide these. But instead of doing this as before with Capitalism, the new way would be with the unknowing, drugged population existing now as slaves to the State. And more than happy to be part of it.
So what does the system that started with Socialism turn out to be? Slavery of everyone on earth. No more individualism or thinking or opposition to anything. Just compliance to the State. Has anyone who now touts Socialism thought this far ahead? I think not! Why? Because Socialism does not allow anyone to think, creatively or otherwise. So, beware the flypaper, the seductive smooth talk, the attractiveness of the exotic, the undercurrent of indoctrination by the left, liberal, airheads. They are the earthly voice of Satan, whose only purpose is to steal the soul of everyone. And, it is not necessary to even believe in Satan. If you are not personally aware that you have lost your soul, God does know. The same God who was abandoned by you long ago.
