Bill Svarda has worked in the music business since 1956 as a trombonist, arranger, copyist, transcriber, orchestrator, composer and engraver.
Bill started many of these aspects of music preparation for various types of bands in Ohio and the mid-west in general, mainly writing for concert and marching bands; stage, dance and jazz bands; and ensembles of all kinds.
After moving to the Los Angeles area in 1975, he has worked with and arranged for vocal ensembles, choirs and soloists in both the religious and secular fields.
As an arranger, transcriber and engraver, Bill has worked for publishers such as: Sparrow Records, Maranatha! Music, Word Music, GIA, International Liturgy Publications, and many others. Finale is his engraving program of choice. He is now recording his own music using Pro Tools.
